Kennedy Town Clinic
The Kennedy Town General Outpatient Clinic (GOPC) serves the community with approximately 22,700 consultations annually. Similar to Ap Lei Chau, there are a range of primary care services offered including chronic disease management and screening, integrated medical-psychosocial services, and nursing services in primary care such as vaccination, smoking cessation, and wound care. The Kennedy Town GOPC became a teaching site for undergraduate medical students in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care at the University of Hong Kong in October 2024. In addition, due to meeting the ventilation requirements, this clinic is especially designed as a “designated clinic” during outbreaks.
